Semana 43

Hola what's up! Not anything super wild happened this week, just a lot of hard work and some changes! Highlights: Transfers came this week and Elder Rasmussen is going to the middle of nowhere to be a Branch President, so I'm getting a new companion tomorrow! His name is Elder Bell and he's from somewhere in Arizona... can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure it's Gilbert Elder's Corumn got a little heated when someone decided it would be necessary to cuss out the teacher and slam the door on the way out of class... it's ok though because we visited him later that night and he said that he wants to help us put his grandson on Baptismal Date!! Found out that everyone is getting sick with Zika so hopefully I don't catch that That's about it for this week! LMK how you're doing as always! Cuernos Abajo, Elder Johnson 1. Lesson with Enzo and the boys 2. Casapan in all its glory 3. Carlos 4. Él no está enojado ya así que todo está de diez

Hega, Had a crazy this week, here's the highlights: This week we had Divisions with the Elders out in INGENIERO JUAREZ. For those who don't know, it's the farthest out area in the mission. We had to take an 8-hour red-eye bus just to get there... 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. It's so far out in the boonies that it is the only area where President Reber doesn't send American Elders. Probably Top Ten craziest experiences of my life Out in Juarez they speak four different languages: Spanish, Toba, Wichi, and another ethnic language that just doesn't have a name. One of the neighborhoods for the unnamed language has government permission to Stone the missionaries if they ever walk in the boundaries... needless to say we did not stop by over there Saw a dude kill an alligator for lunch, the video is a little graphic but lmk if you want to see it I guess. Also saw an armadillo There are wild pigs at every turn in Juarez as well. Once we hit lunch hour me and Elder Arangure...

Hola Highlights: Finally got a haircut after two transfers  Started the week out with Divisions with my boy Elder Santos from Fortaleza, Brazil! We started the mission at the same time back in June and I've been waiting ever since to be comps with him! We ended the day with an hour conversation where he spoke Portuguese and I spoke English and somehow we both understood everything Also on Divisions we had a lesson with a lady named Vivian. We started out the lesson by singing "Soy un Hijo de Dios" and then I said a prayer to start. Immediately after I said "Amén" Vivian gasped super loud and started to yell "WHAT DID YOU JUST DO WHAT DID YOU JUST DO WHAT DID YOU JUST DO" and I was so confused but turns out she thought that we had performed an exorcism? I said no we did not in fact attempt an exorcism Nothing too crazy happened on Wednesday, except for a lady who tried to "banish" us with a prayer to a saint so we just snagged a selfie and l...

Hola que tal mis weys Packed week, here's the highlights: Had divisions with Elder Rasmussen (other rasmussen, not the one who is 6'7) and it was litty, turns out we were both at BYU at the same time and we know all the same people so that was litty Also on divisions we went on visits with a kid named Thiago and he said "After today I have decided to go on a Mission" which was super dope!!  Found the best burgers in Formosa which isn't saying much but I was pleased On Wednesday night Elder Rasmussen and I went with the other ZL's and HLC's to Resistencia for a Leadership Conference and our bus ended up getting delayed for about two hours, so the whole trip ended up feeling like a big vacation. My good friend took a LOT of pictures and I added some below, enjoy Driving from the Terminal in Resistencia our Taxi Driver let us know that he regularly adds a dose of Cocaine to his daily Mate, I thought it might not be the best of ideas but he assured me that i...
