VAMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS ARGENTINA!!! Also feliz navidad :)   These past two weeks have been super crazy and I didn't send an email last week, so merry christmas - this email's a bit longer than usual. Highlights: I have never felt so much national pride for a country where I am not a citizen. Argentina took the fattest of all W´s last week in the World Cup and when we won, it was like the world exploded Leading up to the World Cup game last Sunday it was essentially as if we were back in quarantine, we walked the empty streets to get to appointments and if we stopped by a house the people looked at us like we had the plague About once a day I hear a new fable or campfire story about Messi and his childhood, yesterday it was that he only drinks pure rain water because "he can only drink water that comes straight from the Lord himself" We had our weekly planning session during the final match, and I'm not gonna lie it was pretty difficult to focus.  Hola mis amigos y familia I hit six months this week!! Being 1/4 of the way done is definitely a great feeling... I never have to do the first six months again, never have to not know Spanish again, and I've still got 18 months to become as cracked as possible at Castellano    Here's the highlights from this week: Got bored one night and translated everything I could remember from "Antidote" by Travis Scott into Spanish, so if anyone wants to hear my rendition of "El Antídoto" just let me know Argentina beat the Netherlands, Brazil lost to Croatia, so everything's lookin great for Messi and the fellas. Post-Game parties in San Vicente only get louder and crazier with each win, so hopefully we keep winning It is still hotter than you can imagine Thanks as always for the love and support, hope you're all doing well! Make sure to reach out and let me know how you're doing!! Cuernos Abajo, Elder Johnson 1. Orgullo Nacional 2. Jungle Overlook 3. Part...

What's up friends and family Great week as always! Highlights: Holy cow you have no idea how hot it is We were at lunch with some members when Elder Yetter got absolutely LIT UP by this 4 year old girl named Valentina, who kept asking him why She, being 4, could speak better Spanish than him. Luckily for Elder Yetter he couldn't understand what she was saying because man she was just relentless RIP to the United States soccer team but if they had won against the Netherlands, they would've played Argentina next... that would've been very bad for Elder Yetter and me, the only two Americans in San Vicente Our friend Romina got baptized this week! She has a really cool story: One day a few months ago Elder Packer and I got a reference for a dude named Jorje. We taught him once, but he wasn't too interested. However, he told us that we should talk to his sister, Maria, who was going through a hard time. Thus, we decided to give Maria a call. She was super interested in...
