Semana 27
What's up friends and family
Great week as always!
Highlights:
- Holy cow you have no idea how hot it is
- We were at lunch with some members when Elder Yetter got absolutely LIT UP by this 4 year old girl named Valentina, who kept asking him why She, being 4, could speak better Spanish than him. Luckily for Elder Yetter he couldn't understand what she was saying because man she was just relentless
- RIP to the United States soccer team but if they had won against the Netherlands, they would've played Argentina next... that would've been very bad for Elder Yetter and me, the only two Americans in San Vicente
- Our friend Romina got baptized this week! She has a really cool story: One day a few months ago Elder Packer and I got a reference for a dude named Jorje. We taught him once, but he wasn't too interested. However, he told us that we should talk to his sister, Maria, who was going through a hard time. Thus, we decided to give Maria a call. She was super interested in the message, but unfortunately lives in Buenos Aires, so we referred her to the Elders down there. A few days later, however, Maria gave us the contact for her daughter Romina, who lives in San Vicente! When Elder Yetter got to San Vicente we started teaching her, and yesterday she finally got baptized! Definitely a miracle in my eyes. Also, the Elders in Buenos Aires are helping Maria to prepare for Baptism, and Maria's son, Angel, was also baptized a few weeks back! Shoutout to the boy Jorje for starting the ball rolling

- We were walking through the Jungle with our friend Hermano Velazquez when we saw a big poisonous snake. The Hermano gasped and yelled "KILL THE SNAKE" and then proceeded to start throwing big rocks at it. So we took a good 5 minutes to play hit the snake with big rocks... I call it public service
Thanks to everyone who has reached out! As always I appreciate the love and support! Let me know how you're all doing!
Cuernos Abajo,
