  ¡Hola! Great week with lots of ups and downs! Highlights: Started off the week with divisions with Elder Bell, one of my favorite companions that I was with back in Formosa! It's kinda weird going on splits with someone you were already companions with... kind of just like picking up right back where you left off. Luckily we got along really well before, so Elder Bell and I had a blast for sure On divisions, Elder Bell and I had an awesome experience with our friend Manuel. He is a 91-year old recent convert to the church who is currently receiving the post-baptism lessons. When we went by on Tuesday morning, we had planned to show a video about Temples and invite Manuel to prepare to go to the Temple to receive his other necessary ordinances. When we showed the video and told him about what an eternal family really means, Manuel began to cry.   What's up everyone Made it back to the field this week! Lots of travelling and readjusting to missionary life, but it's been a great couple of weeks! Here's my highlights: Surgery recovery went well! I spent a lot of time sitting on my couch and really not doing anything. Luckily my Stake President gave me some leeway with things I could do/watch as I was recovering from surgery, so I sat down last week and watched Avatar: The Last Airbender from start to finish, which was fire It was so amazing to spend a bunch of time with my family over these past few weeks! Families are an amazing blessing and even though I never planned on/wanted to come home in the middle of my mission, I am for sure super lucky that I was able to see family right in the middle! Shoutout to everyone who made time to come and see me when I was home, you're the real ones for sure After my follow up appointment went well on Friday, I got cleared to head back to my mission the following Monday!   ¡Hola a todos! Here's my update from the past two weeks! Highlights: Got to go to the Denver Temple last week! There's no temple in the Resistencia mission so it was super nice to go back and visit the house of the Lord I hit a year as a set apart missionary this week! Kind of weird to hit a year sitting in my house waiting to get surgery, but it is what it is. I'm just super excited for the year to come! Week 53 was a confusing week, I visited lots of different doctors who had lots of different opinions of what was going on with me. Some said that I definitely had a hernia, some said that I had inflamed lymph nodes, and some said there wasn't actually anything wrong with me at all... so I had a fun time gaslighting myself into believing that there wasn't anything wrong with me, even though I was still in pain. This continued up until last Tuesday , when I went in to see the surgeon who finally agreed to operate on me to fix up the hernia! That week I also got two...

  Hola que tal y un gran saludo a todos Interesting week with an even more interesting ending... let me fill you all in Highlights: On Sunday of last week, Elder Fuller and I hit one of the most OP weekly planning sessions ever; we got a little bit wrecked the week before and weren't finding too much success, so we took the time to sit down and plan every little thing that we could do to be able to find success and help people to be able to progress. We were super excited for a full week! After a pretty typical Pday in Resi, I noticed that I was starting to get some pain in my stomach and lower abdomen. It wasn't too bad, but I decided that I should tell Hermana Reber what was going on and see if she what she thought I should do. She ended up telling me that I should go to the doctor and try to see if there was any kind of serious problem. Hola mis reyes y reinas Good week this week, here's the highlights: Started out the week in Divisiones with Elder Baldree from California. Highlight of the day was when we put their friend Lisandro on baptismal date, but he got up in the middle of the opening prayer and yelled "GET THE **** OUT" at a dog that was trying to eat his chickens Took lots of pictures with the random street horses, enjoy Had divisions for the second time in the week with Elder Woodworth from New York, except this time I was leading the area without knowing where anything was, AND our phone broke so I couldn't use the map to find my way around. We ended up just knocking some doors for about four hours but we had a good time doing it Learned Jocelyn Flores on the guitar this week which was lit Week was a little rough work wise, but we made lots of good goals for this upcoming week so we're excited to get working and get the area moving.
